Cleaning Leslie Speaker Motors
A couple of years ago, I got a great deal on a Leslie 47. Even without a Hammond to hook it to, the deal was way too good to pass up. This Leslie did not have an amplifier and has single speed motors. I picked up a Leslie 147 amplifier, and have ordered a module that that will allow me to have fast/slow speeds.
As with most things this old, the cabinet and everything in it is pretty darned dirty. Before putting any music through this, I need to clean and oil the motors.
